Volevo Dirti Che...

IT C’è ancora un po' d'estate nell’inverno, quando le lucciole dei prati brillano sull’abete di Natale e nella brace del camino il tramonto infuoca l’orizzonte di una stanza. GB There is still summer in winter, when the fireflies of the meadows shine on the Christmas tree and in the embers of the fireplace the sunset burns  the horizon of a room. ES Todavía hay verano en invierno, cuando las luciérnagas de los prados brillan en el arbol de navidad y entre las brasas de la chimenea la puesta de sol quema  el horizonte de una habitación.

IT Una fotografia in bianco e nero è senza epoca: chi c’era è il granito di un monumento che c’è ancora. GB A black and white photograph is without age: who exists is the granite of a monument which still exists. ES Una fotografia en blanco y negro es sin edad: quien existió es el granito de un monumento que to davía existe.

IT I convenevoli sono futili come i saluti su una cartolina, a cui importa sapere  solo chi penso e dove. GB The formalities are futile like greetings on a postcard, which cares to know only who I’m thinking and where. ES Las formalidades son inútiles como los saludos en una tarjeta  postal, a quien importa saber sólo que pienso y dónde.

IT L’amore eterno è una sfida intrigante, soprattutto se a volerlo  è chi è mortale. GB Eternal love is an intriguing challenge, especially if who is mortal want it. ES Amor eterno es un reto intrigante, especialmente si lo quieres quien es mortal.

IT Sono tra i pochi ad aver soddisfatto l’ambizione di avere una mia biografia: è tra le pagine di tutti i libri della mia biblioteca. GB I am one of the few to satisfie the ambition  to have my biography: it is in the pages of all the books of my library. ES Soy una de los pocos haber satisfecho la ambición de tener mi biografia está entre las páginas de todos los libros de mi biblioteca.

IT Il compromesso per essere l’archetto del tuo violino è stare sulle corde, sapendo che, altrimenti, potrei diventare il motivo del tuo silenzio. GB The compromise to be the bow of your violin is staying on the ropes, knowing that, otherwise, I could become the reason of your silence. ES El compromiso de ser el arco de tu violin se queda en las cuerdas, sabiendo que, de lo contrario, podría ser la razón  de tu silencio.

IT La speranza piange soltanto un momento sulla sabbia che perde dal setaccio delle dita: quel poco che occorre per costruire un castello. GB Hope cries just a moment on the leaking sand from the finger sieve: that few is needed to build a castle. ES La esperanza llora solo un momento en la arena que gotea del tamiz de dedo: ese poco que necesita para construir un castillo.

IT Adesso il cielo piega l’origami di qualche rondine, che l’autunno disferà con le sue piogge. GB Now the sky bends the origami of some swallow, that autumn will disrupt by its rains. ES Ahora el cielo dobla el origami de alguna golondrina, que el otoño disolverà con sus lluvias.

IT Tanti corteggiano la riva spaventati dal largo, dimenticando che le onde percuotono proprio gli scogli. GB So much people court the shore frightened by the broad, forgetting that  the waves beat just the rocks. ES Muchas personas cortejan la orilla asustadas por lo amplio, olvidando que las olas golpean  sólo las rocas.

IT Sono diventata un prato trasandato, perché il mio giardino sa cosa vuole nella sua aiuola. GB I became a shabby lawn, because my garden knows what it wants  in its flowerbed. ES Me convertí en un prado descuidado, porque mi jardin sabe lo que quiere en su jardinera.

IT Voglio essere abbracciata da uno sguardo, da un’iride di cui divento la pupilla.  GB I want to be hugged from a look, from an iris  of which  I become the pupil. ES Quiero ser abrazada de un vistazo,  de un iris  de la que  me convierto en pupila.

IT Per quanto sembri buia,  la notte è giorno  e quel che brilla  è ancora il sole  sulla luna. GB No matter how dark it seems,  night is day and what shines  is still the sun on the moon. ES No importa cuán es oscura, la noche es dia y lo que brilla  es más el sol en la luna.

IT Sei il meridiano  dei fusi orari in cui ti penso  e a qualunque latitudine,  se l’equatore è il tuo sorriso,  il sole è allo zenit. GB You are the meridian  of the time zones  I think of you and at every latitude, if the equator is your smile, the sun is at the zenith. ES Tu eres el meridiano de las zonas horarias  donde pienso en ti, y en cualquier latitud, si el ecuador es tu sonrisa, el sol está en el cenit.

IT Il paradosso è che vorremmo diventare un dono per gli altri e non essere mai scartati.

IT Il mare che rimpiange  quando era fiume  diventa onda,  come se la riva fosse  la nostalgia di un argine. GB The sea that regrets  when it was river becomes wave, as if the shore were nostalgia for an embankment. ES El mar que lamenta cuando era rio se convierte en ola, como si la orilla fuera nostalgia por un terraplén.

IT Dubito dell’acume  degli angoli ottusi  e dei punti di vista  che dimenticano gli occhiali. GB I doubt the acumen  of obtuse angles and points of view who forget their glasses. ES Dudo la perspicacia de angulos obtusos y los puntos de vista que olvidan sus gafas.

IT Perdiamo molti tramonti inseguendo l'alba. E poi infondo cos'è l'alba? Un tramonto alle spalle. GB We lose many sunsets chasing the dawn. And then what is dawn?  The shoulders of a sunset ES Perdemos muchas puestas de sol. persiguiendo el alba. Y entonces que es el alba? Los hombros de una puesta.

IT In un campo di grano  è frainteso il dubbio di un papavero  di essere raccolto. GB In  a wheat field  the doubt of a poppy to be collected or harvest is misunderstood. ES En un campo de trigo la duda de una amapola para ser recogida  y ser la cosecha  es mal entendida.
